Job Summary
The Ecommerce Product Catalog Associate is responsible for creating new product listings every week, editing old listings, and keeping listings up to date based on every changing business need. This role oversees the launch of new products, ensuring that all necessary information is available to customers at the time of release. They work with the marketing department to ensure each product launch initiative is successful and productive. The product catalog associate is responsible for writing content that will be used to market products which is clear, concise, and engaging for customers.
A day in the life of a Site Merchandising Associate:
Catalog Maintenance/Site Merchandising
· Manages new product setups across multiple stores including gathering product images, details, copy, etc.
· Works with Product management to accurately represent all products in the stores.
· Monitors the performance of new products, flags any concerns, and strategizes with team on ways to improve performance through onsite exposure and marketing strategies.
· Executes daily updates to multiple e-commerce sites, including new product launches, promotional banners, and assortment organization.
· Maximizes conversion and revenue goals by using data to optimize product assortment and location.
User Experience
· Conducts webstore audits across multiple devices to make sure all information is up to date, website functionality is working as expected, and to facilitate the quick and efficient resolution of any errors.
· QC’s new webstores to ensure it visually looks correct as well as confirm functionality is working properly.
· Works closely with the development team to implement new site features.
Digital Marketing Support
· Assists with social media assets, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
· Crafts copy for social posts, emails, and site banners.
Required Qualifications
o 2 years Shopify experience
o Experience an Email Service Provider (Klaviyo preferred)
o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
o Basic HTML Programming language
o Basic statistical analysis
o Proficiency in project management and scheduling promotional events.
